It is our nature that we feel curiosity about hidden and dark phases of nature. Moreover, in the search of these silent areas we give them shapes of our own and often create a strong hypothetical conviction about the unreal. The next step after the curious nature is the trend of beliefs. Our insight follows uncontested beliefs and they revolve around conspiracies. Therefore, when we feel unknown fear, as it is natural to feel it, we transit to a paranoid state. While in acute paranoid condition we experience hallucination, illusion and if one is having a potential of nervous disorder then the next big thing is delusion.
All of these have thin distinctions between them. Hallucination is our perception in the conscious state in the absence of stimulus. For instance, someone hears music while no one is playing it. Illusion is a little different because it involves external stimuli, but it is distorted and misinterpreted perception, like if someone in a dark room considers a suit stand as a man or a ghost. Meanwhile, delusion emerges from some nervousness disorder. It involves correctly interpreted stimulus or real perception but the person adds some wicked and bizarre significance.
People made strong convictions that they have had a paranormal encounter. They swear to God and try to convince others. If one gets interested in his certainty then he becomes the very next victim of hallucination or illusion.
Every religion conveys a concept of paranormal creatures as Islam does. And it is our faith that these creatures exist. God has sent 0.124 million prophets to preach masses and to create an awareness among them about the presence of The Almighty in a normal way. There are some exceptions available but why didn’t He present a paranormal and supernatural creature in front of mankind and convince him in no time? The answer is quite clear, He want us to test our nerves and realize Him according to our nature in a normal comportment. In this contest Prophets are his favor upon us. Paranormal encounters are supervised by God and these are not for layman.
